Made slowly. Made thoughtfully. Made for the moments that matter.

Moments in the Making started with a simple love of making.

Of taking a ball of yarn or a beautiful piece of fabric and turning it into something useful, something lovely, and something that becomes part of everyday life.

What started with knitting, crochet and sewing has grown into a small handmade business inspired by the things I love to do, the places I love to go and all those little moments in between.

From wrapping up warm for a walk on a cold morning, to weekends spent by the water. From pottering in the garden to packing for an adventure, making a home feel cosy or finding something special to give to someone you love.

Those are the moments that inspire what I make.

Thoughtfully handmade

Everything at Moments in the Making is handmade by me, in small quantities.

This isn't a world of mass production or endless identical stock. Some pieces will become familiar favourites, while others might only exist once or twice.

Sometimes I'll find a beautiful fabric I can't resist. Sometimes I'll experiment with a new pattern, colour or idea. And sometimes I'll simply make something because I think it deserves to exist.

That's why you'll occasionally find one-off pieces and limited runs alongside the everyday collection.

I like to think that's part of their story.

Made to be part of yours

I want Moments in the Making to create things that aren't simply bought, used and forgotten.

A hat that comes along on countless winter walks.

A cushion that gets brought out every Christmas.

A handmade gift that reminds someone of the person who gave it to them.
